I'm not sure exactly what happens when those numbers keep plunging into the negative, but by the red exclamation alert, I would guess it's a warning from Intense Debate (not theChive) that your profile is about to be banned and you will no longer be able to post on this (or any) website that utilizes Intense Debate for posting. That would mean your avenues of opportunity for posting on theChive will be one less, and right now that would be a happy day for the rest of us.
