    Is #15 for real?

    • http://www.facebook.com/leefo Lee Foster
    • Hank Scorpio

Yes. Google Maps "porto arabia, qatar". They make tons of islands like this off Bahrain, Qatar, and Dubai. Check out the "map of the world" of Dubai. Pretty crazy.

      • TIZ

And now I want to move to Dubi..

    • b-ry

      been there…pretty dope place!

      • ch-ord

Can't legally go to or past first base, if you know what I mean. I hear they lock people up for that there.

  • PabstBlueRobot

    #12 Looks Amazing

  • William

    Where is #3?

    • Adam

Cinque Terre, Italy. It's five little villages on the coast. This one is Manarola. I stayed there for a week.

      • http://www.facebook.com/masternatron Nathan Bowen

I was there. Cinque Terre = 5 little cities connected by a baddddasss hiking path. This photo is Manarola. want to go there now.

    • Ken

Adam's correct and quite lucky (I only got to stay for 2 days in a tent in some dump called Deiva Marina). You can hike all 5 villages in a day (through lemon groves) and never stop being stunned at the sites around you.

    • Matt

My friends got married on that cliff where all the boats are and had the reception in the restaurant right on the edge of town in the picture. Great wedding!

      • Chickiddy

I wanted to get married here…. it is really stunning. Been twice, i love it. Can't wait to go back 🙂

    • eat balls, internet!

must go to vernazza on this trip. the sicilian brothers at the top of the hill have the best food in the cinque terre. i shit you not. these 5 villages are amazing.

some of my favorite stories from traveling europe are from the canoli twins.
"i have a little window in my kitchen and i looked out and made something as beautiful as you."
"some women prefer george clooney. some women, prefer me."

#13 I think that is Antietam. Civil war battlefields are sad places. No want sad place!!

    • Anon

No, the battlefield bridge at Antietam is a stone bridge with three curves in it.

      • IronEagle119

Correct, it's called Burnside Bridge. In college (Shepherd U.) we going tubing down the Antietam Creek when it's warm and float coolers of beer watching tourists walk around a battle field sweating their asses off.

    • IronEagle119

Not Burnside Bridge at Antietam, unless there are more I don't know about…

  • Diana Santos

    • anonymous

      looks like Maldives maybe?

    • Jeremy

If you need a travel partner, I'm in. I just need a one way ticket.

    • b-ry

better get there fast…it won't be there much longer. going to be underwater eventually.

  • Do Want

Chive, why you no include caption with location?

    • Jimmy C

I agree. Definitely need to start adding the locations to these.

  • SweetAwesomeness

    #23 shit i need a vacation!!!

  • Ken

These pictures make me realize that no matter how much I add trinkets to my cubicle, office life blows harder than a Justin Beiber fan to a scalper with nose-bleed seats for sale.

  • Pixle

    #14 Where/what is this?

    • JAFitC

It is one of the Coptic Christian churches carved out of solid rock in Ethiopia.

    • Shak

  • Urban

  • TylerV

It would really help if theChive put the location under the picture so I know where theses places are…

The Liz Lemon inspired title is perfect

  • Joe

#16 Is Mont St. Michel in France.

  • Chim Richels

#23 – looks like the Le Meridien 'over water bungalows' on Bora Bora (Tahiti). Did my honeymoon there – spent a ton of fucking money, but god damn it was amazing.

  • TitoRigatoni

When I first came here, this was all swamp. Everyone said I was daft to build a castle on a swamp, but I built it all the same, just to show them. It sank into the swamp. So I built a second one. That sank into the swamp. So I built a third. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one stayed up. And that's what you're going to get, Lad, the strongest castle in all of England.

  • GiGiDag

#1 – Might be Rio Dulce in Guatemala. I was born there and that river looks very similar to this one. Butt I could be wrong! It would be nice to know tho…
