#4 was done by Marshall at Third Eye Tattoos in Melbourne, Australia.

He did my tattoos and he's a freaking miracle of nature!

    Plus, he's a pirate.

    • marshy

Just for being a pirate he gets my vote!!!!!

    • Bryan

This is actually the only tattoo on this list I really liked. Amazing artwork

#17 Anchor Man is awesome but yikes that tattoo is pretty shitty.

  • doubleplay

    • Den

'Cause you never know what you're gonna get…

  • Mike

#17 This was a BAD choice

    • Vince Weaver

How big of a loser do you have to be to want a Will Ferrel character inked on your body for the rest of your life? Even his mother wouldn't do that….

      • yoselahonda

        Go F*** yourself San Diego!

  • tommybhoy

#10 My favorite scene also…just wouldn't tattoo it on myself.

  • Anon

Wow, this was a pretty sweet gallery of rather impressive artwork, a lot of the colors really pop. But why is it exactly anyone would think someone who has $1000+ to spend on a tattoo lives in thier parents basements?
Here's a Frank from Donnie Darko I designed for myself
and my Digital Rain (Matrix) tattoo

    • HateMachine

      those both look like shit

    • et phone home

yeah, you definitely live in your parents basement

    • ostrichman1985

hahahahaha. I hope that when you get that god aweful donnie darko bunny head tattooed, you send the photo to the chive. You will give them a good head start on another gallery like this one.

  • Israeli_Rob

  • Lida

Some of these are really bizarre

  • chrisdg74

    #9 – "Sloth love Chunk!".
#25 – True Romance. Now, THAT is an underrated movie.

    • Fred Buecker

I actually bought two copies of the True Romance DVD so I wouldn't worry about losing one.

    • Jade

      Highly underrated.

      • jamie

one hell of a fucking film

    • find her!

I never under rated it…. best Tarantino flick ever!!

  • davey

wow. there are some really really stupid people out there who really really like to prove that they are really really are stupid.

  • xXbeermonkeyXx

good things about movie tatoos is if you forget what they are about, you can just watch the vhs again.

  • Ben from Aus

    #2 forever alone..

But all of these people are total losers.

  • 0Bianka0

#20 is a great job, but I guess it makes it even sadder.

  • BjD21

#5 We have to go back in time and stop you from getting this tattoo!

  • Vince Weaver

    #18 #13 #12
You can enjoy a framed movie poster just as much, but replace it or take it down before you get wrinklely, saggy, and old.

  • Lyndon Morgan

the quality of the work appears to be great but I feel bad for the artist the content with some exceptions would be in the "I gave them exactly what they wanted" file.

  • Ned Shidoinks

"I like you Clarence, always have, always will". Great movie!

    • Nunya

If this person is going to get a tat from this movie, they might as well get the one with Dennis Hopper explaining the history of the Italians.

      • Charles

that would sicilians, you were so close!

        • Charles

lol wtf i typed "be" <twilight zone music>

  • Holly Sands

#4 I actually really like. Amazing detail.
Most are done really well too – gotta at least respect them for going to a decent artist for them.

  • Smithers

this is why people think tattoos are stupid. unless there is some deep life changing aspect about the movies, this is a terrible idea

    • Ethan

THE BIG LEBOWSKI. That is a life changing movie. And it's the only tattoo up there that I found tolerable.

    • tim

Who's life WASN'T altered the first time they watched The Goonies?

  • lolcat

    #6 #8

these two arent so bad, i approve

  • Maynard B.

Call me a hater, I just don't get it.

  • HK1

    #22 the f**ked king arthur's eye's up a bit

    • Echoes

      "look its the king",
"how do you know he is a king?"
"Cause he isn't covered in shit."

  • BeccaB86

A lot of them look really well done, I just don't know that the appropriate display method would be on someone's body. To each their own.

    • sasktuna

love to see you display yours! great post though btw

  • Cup o' coffee

Will there be a post 10yrs from now displaying their regret for these dum*ass tatoos? You'll know where to find these people since they'll still be in their parents basement playing WOW and eating Cheetos with their blowup girlfriend.

    • flaminghot

      dont hate on cheetos

    • Rangerdanger

I'm going to venture a guess that you don't and refuse to ever get a tattoo because you set yourself up on some moral high horse thinking that anyone who does get one is beneath you. There's nothing wrong with tattoos, and the people in these pictures paid very well to have them done by artists that know what they're doing. Regret is a non-issue to these people.

    • Vern

Not if they try to get her a matching tat…
