Today is one of the best drunken holidays o’ the year, St. Patrick’s Day. Chivettes, grab your cameras and snap a few of your greenest photos when you go out tonight. Points awarded for Chivettes who write ‘Hi Chive’ on bar napkins. I’ll sprinkle them in tomorrow’s ‘Sexy Chivers’.
Our first-time Chivettes have started to pour in and y’all continue to impress. Our Sexy Chivers are now a national phenomenon with millions of people tuning in every week to watch real girls send a message that ‘sexy’ is no longer the property of fake, photoshopped, unattainable models. Let’s make this Friday one for the books.

    I agree, but a lot of folks were down-right hostile to one of the gorgeous young girls (alleging that she had plastic surgery or looked too made up)

    I get what you're saying John, but I'd have to disagree. The very first photo I got posted of myself on here was criticized and ridiculed to no end, and ultimately did some damage to my self esteem. Comments like "I'm pretty sure that's a dude" and "creepy man hands" were the bulk of the feedback I got. So I'd just have to say that the chive really isn't any different than the rest of the superficial nit-picky womanizing sites out there. Sorry, but this is one chivette who will be keeping her "assets" to herself.

      I would ignore it, honestly. The main demographic has clearly changed from what it used to be. And by main demographic I mean that high school kids have finally caught word of this site. They are cynical of everything. I kind of wrote that as a joke, but it's mostly true…source: my brother is in high school and this site is now like the day that Facebook stopped allowing college networks only.

      Hannah, I'm sorry for the comments you got, but you can't take seriously every one of them. People that bother to write a bad comment, are jealous and angry people who do nothing but take it out on others, because they don't have anything better to do. And most of them haven't been with a woman so that they would know what real beauty is all about. Chive on.

          This is how you should think of the comments, keep the best, forget the rest. immature little assholes that hide behind their finger, or a laptop screen, exist everywhere.. Sending your pics is kind of gamble and I applaud the real Chivettes that have the courage to do it. reply with a link of your photo if you want so I can see for myself.

            I'm #41. My hands just happened to be a bit veiny lol but I sent in the pic to sway the votes in favor for the belly button ring. I personally love mine.

              Can't really believe how you got bad comments Hannah, honestly. I don't think you need my opinion, but you have a smoking hot body. I, too, love belly button rings, especially on girls with such incredible abs. I don't see anything wrong with the photo, includes perfect belly with ring, a beautiful tattoo, underboob, hint of underwear… ;) and since you seem to work out, I can only imagine how good your tush is (if you don't mind me saying this). For what it's worth I wish I knew you girl, and be the lucky one taking that photo. Chive on.

      i have to say that you'll find cynicism everywhere. i'd hardly say hanna was bashed. this site is, and continues to be, a largely positive place compared to the chans, ebaums, reddit, etc. there are always a few bad apples but seriously, the chive is not overrun by teens. that's far from true.

    John. You know I love you. You know I'd watch every episode of True Blood on the planet if I could peel myself away from my real life & thechive.     Hannah, I'm sorry folks were rude/crude/unappreciative of your picture hun. I know words can hurt. But think of it this way, every snotty comment from every knothead sitting in their Grandma's basement, well, ask them if they'd have the courage to submit their picture? Chances are pretty good it's a big fat no. And John obviously thought you were Chivette hot. So screw them if they don't like you. You like you.       My idea of a "potenail" is somewhere between what you said and the image of a pot leaf growing a toenail. Gross I know. o.0

    It's true most of us are tired with all that fake and plastic beauty everyone is trying to sell us. That's why we want Chivettes, we have something really beautiful to look at. Anyone may like a model, but it's the girl next door that fall in love with. And I bet anyone who sends her pictures can use some good comments…Don't be shy… Chive on.
