This picture is of the 1989 wildfires in Yellowstone park. I remember fondly visiting the park that summer and seeing all the fires first-hand.

Actually….this photo was taken by a Forest Service Hot Shot wildland firefighter standing on a HWY 93 bridge over the West Fork of the Bitterroot River with a cheapo disposable camera, just north of Sula, Montana, August of 2000.
