Because of some algae the lake is meant to turn from green to red or maybe the other way around.
I went. Im also colour blind. Didnt see any colour change. Still epic though. The salt flats to get there are like an alien world.
These are all HDR-processed photos. That means, if you go to any of these places and see how they look in reality, you're prolly going to be one disappointed chiver.
Yeah it's a real beautiful place. I went 3 years ago with fam. Water was a a frigid 55 when I went swimming. But definitely a memorable place to visit.
I went to the dentist recently and my dentist has #4 hanging in her office. I kinda like it but it looks like my back yard almost so it's not that interesting to me ;P
If I had to pick one place to ever visit again it would be #18
#8 Amazing
13 mile hike to get to it. Worth every bit of it.
I second that, been there too.
Where is it?
Bottom of the Grand Canyon
You guys give me a new background every week. Thanks

#19 amazing metal deposit, truly a rainbow coloured hole

It is beautiful but what amazes me is that there are people who would just jump in there. That would make a cool GIF.
now that you mention it, that would be a great hot tub to soak while having a beer
Where is #8, #9 and #14?
9 is the the laguna verde in the salt flats of uyuni, bolivia.. amazing

#8 is not enhanced at all. I have several photos of this area that I took myself, and they look just like this.
I love these posts. They're my one of my favourite posts of the week, and DEFINITELY what I need after a horrendous Tuesday
