The kitchen is actually one of my favorite places, and one of the most important rooms whenever I'm deciding on a place to live. For the house I eventually intend to build, I'll probably spend more on the kitchen than any 3 other rooms combined.

The earlier post about the KitchenAid stand mixer made me miss mine terribly…I left it back in the States when I moved to Europe. I guess it'll be a while before I fix another cheesecake.

So what's your favorite kitchen appliance/implement? Mine's a nice professional-grade Calphalon wok. Wonderful for so many different meal preparations!

Oh god do I love this place… ya know what we need… cooking. if this is a food blog don't we need some cooking pics… maybe, just maybe with some ridiculously hot and not completely clothed chicks doing the cooking? just a thought.

I'm guessing all of the people who don't get the joke are from outside of the US. It's April Fools day here in the us and the tradition here it to play a prank on someone. The chive staff have just decided to do it all day long. There haven't been many pics of hot chics today, but I knew they couldn't go a full day without a cat post.
