Not saying it's NOT fake, but the tulip fields here in the Netherlands defy belief sometimes.

      • Travel MOAR!

Please put locations if possible. Seriously, I want to go there, and there, oh and there too! But where is it?!?!

P.S. I'm pretty sure 19 is in Holland, prob outside of Amsterdam somewhere.

  • Josh Gorter

    Where was #16 taken at?

    • M_T

    • Surge

Probably the Atchafalaya Basin in south Louisiana

  • Dan

    • http://www.facebook.com/Gothikwolf Dane Wolfgang

India or another country close to india the architecture suggests but not sure of the actual location

    • Havoc Control

      The Chittorgarh Fort in India.

  • thirstybackpacker

#12 is the White Travertines in Pamukkale, Turkey.

  • Mike Pearson

    I agree.
    6 is amazing.

  • juggernaut

pretty sure that #19 is the island from the incredibles…

    • juggernaut

      oops..meant #21.

      • Nowitzki

This is Ko Phi Phi on the westcoast of Thailand. Maya Bay on this island was the location for "The Beach".

        Greetz from Germany

        • http://twitter.com/whitsouth11 whitneysouth

I'm going to do a "scumbag steve" type of comment and just brag, that….

Yeah, I've been there. Thailand is unreal.

    • Mitch

This is probably from somewhere in Amsterdam where they have their huge "tulip" festival

      • wuzzman16

either real Holland or Holland michigan

This is definitely one of the better "get away" galleries. All of these places are stunning. #3 In particular though, that must be what heaven is like.

  • -KhmerStory-

I nearly died when I saw #10 and #11. Take me there, Chive.

    • lolnonomous

I believe #10 is a cave in china, I remember seeing it on a national geographic series called Wild China. I believe it's the first episode and can be found on netflix online streaming if you would like to see more.

  • mrjimmyos

These are astonishing, thanks chive. I wish I could get these in high res. Where is #6 and #12?

  • Bob

    And here we go:

These pictures are just big and not in H.Q.
Chive why do you say these are H.Q. but they are not they are just big…

  • Doc Icetea

    #20 is just beautiful.
Anybody have a bigger version of that?

    • mineisbigger

      that's what she said

  • McSgwigga

#1 was better with the smokin hot girl stood there

  • Birdhaus32

Considering Tuesday is the taint of the week. This always makes me forget for a few minutes.

  • ReginaFilange

It's sad that most of these are retouched/enhanced/photoshopped/color corrected. These places are already beautiful enough. (That comment can be used on posts about women magazine ads too)

  • http://www.dennispikephoto.com Dennis Pike

Chive, being a photographer, I am always thrilled when you guys post something that has to do with quality photography, and I must say, you guys usually have a pretty good eye at spotting quality photography. But, please, enough with the HDR shit. It makes my eyes want to bleed. thank you

    • Dirty Dingus

You sound like the old school photographers that were bitching when color film became popular…it was just a fad and B&W film was still (and always would be) where it's at.

If Ansel Adams was a photographer in this era, he's be all over 'experimental' processing like this.

If you don't like it, just keep scrolling.

    This was your best yet!

  • ImpressMe

Great for taking mini vacations from work…. thanks for the break Chive!!

  • ralph

I wish they would make these images just a little bigger… say, 1600×1200? It sucks to be able to see all of these but when i make them my desktop they get all blurry :(

  • http://echogeo.wordpress.com/ echogeo

Now I'm ready to go camping…hunting…hiking…biking…fishing…drinking 'round the campfire…hey, don't bogart that joint my friend!

  • ryecrash

Though rather pretty, #19 probably fake. The shadow on the windmill in the background is on the opposite side of the shadows on the flowers suggesting two different light sources.

    • Anonymous

Though it is probably fake, as you say, scenes like these can actually be found in Holland. You just have to know where to look.

  • Jimmy

    # 19 is holland
