Santa Cruz/Redding, CA, Morro Bay, CA, as well as Yosemite National Park. In Oregon, Klameth Falls has some pretty epic forestry and lakeside chill spots.

Manarola is one of the "Cinque Terre", which means "Five Countries"
They are 5 beautiful little towns in the northern Italy, by the Ligurian Sea

#18 is Yellowstone Falls in Yellowstone National Park. In my previous life as a geologist, I studied the volcanic system responsible for creating Yellowstone. Geologically speaking, it's due to erupt any day now (meaning sometime in the next several thousand to 10,000 years). When it does, you don't want to be within a few thousand miles of it.

I was speaking more to the short-term effects of incineration from the blast wave, pyroclastic flow, and ashfall, and respiratory effects of inhaling all that ash, but yes, you are absolutely correct. Nuclear winter is no fun.
