I live in Wichita and ride my bike on a bike path that goes right by this place. It's sooo much more eerie in person. It's almost always windy here and you can hear all kinds of moans, squeaks and squeals from metal parts being blown around in an otherwise silent environment. I think these photos must be at least a few years old because the place is way more dilapidated, vandalized and overgrown now.

Joyland had a creepy ass organ playing clown but unfortunatly it was stolen a few years back. Crazy to see Wichita make the Chive.

An employee was working under the roller doing gardening and was stuck by the cars and killed in 2004 I believe.

As for everyone else, I don't know about you, but the only two thoughts in my head while looking at these photos is off key carnival music, and the old 1983 movie "Something Wicked this Way Comes".
