Part of living in a free country means there should be laws in place to protect people from being shot on the street. Very seldom does that happen in australia because we responsibly don't allow every man, woman and child to have a gun. I'm happy to not have a gun if it means i don't have to be scared about going to the shops at night to get milk.
Australia has always had low gun crime. Gun crime has been steadily declining since long before the gun ban. Somehow you got talked into giving it all up in a time when you have never been less likely to be shot.
And amusingly, feel like that's the price of freedom….. I guess if you that naive, you deserve what you get. Can't wait to see what else you'll buy because the government says it's for your own good.
