Thanks for setting the moron straight who is under the impression that Obama himself killed Bin Laden. It's those types of idiots who will vote to re-elect him, too. Sad…

    • ydodonutshave2die

lmao u guys r super lame of course the PRESIDENT deserves some credit for killing the worlds most wanted terrorist without him the seals wouldn't have been out there so pull your head out of Glenn Becks ass and think for yourself

      • paulhitchcock

Actually, if Obama had gotten his way back when we first got involved in AfPak, the SEALs WOULDN'T have been out there.

I paid $32.67 for a XBOX 360 and my mom got a 17 inch Toshiba laptop for $94.83 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores. I even sold a 46 inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me $52.78 to get. Here is the website we using to get all this stuff, BidsJump.com

    • Allenavw

      Thanks : )

  • paulhitchcock

Yes, he said the word…after waiting over three months once we figured out where OBL was and mulling it over for 16 hours after the SEAL team was in place. Real decisive decision-making there. Also, EVERYONE, from Hillary Clinton, to Leon Panetta, to Gen. Petraeus, was telling him they needed to go in and kill him. Yeah, he deserves a lot of credit for going along with what everyone else wanted him to do.

Here's the video of Bush's speech on the aircraft carrier.

Rather than believe everything you read on salon.com, why don't you watch that video and then tell me when Bush "announced" that the mission was accomplished? In fact, he did quite the opposite. He said that we had a long fight ahead of us. The "Mission Accomplished" banner was placed on the superstructure at the request of the commanding officer of the aircraft carrier. They were returning from their longest sortie to date, and were proud of the mission *they* had accomplished in helping overthrow Saddam Hussein in Iraq.

Liberal pundits twisted the message of the banner in order to try to make Bush look like an idiot, and idiots like you bought it hook, line, and sinker without doing any independent research of your own.

And just because I know you're thinking it, no, I'm not a Bush apologist. I didn't vote for him in either election, and I think he's one of the worst Presidents we've had. I just hate it when people twist the facts to either try to claim credit they don't deserve or bash someone for something he didn't say.

    • McBeastie

I just know that he's the commander in chief. I've still got a modicum of respect for the office. I'm no Bush fan either, but I'd be defending and giving him his dues if he was in charge during the operation…but he wasn't, Obama was and as Commander in Chief I say good job to him.

I don't visit salon.com…I'm too busy fuckin' off at the Chive.

  • Josh

    #17 & #18 epic!
