Like the women in the other posts (FLBP) that you're not dating?

  • Brother Maynard

Looks very cool. To be honest $600 a night is not bad for something like that. Plane tickets might be pricey.

    • northerner

No kiddin. What's Thailand, 6-8000 miles away, depending? Plane tickets aren't cheap these days, to anywhere. Ten nights, 6 grand plus plane and ground transport and meals. Pricey vacation. But, if you can afford it, looks very worth it. Beautiful amenities. Beautiful area.

    • Maynard B.

Dude, this is the Far East, cockroaches are the least of your worries.

That's where you go to really knock out a lot of "Places where I've F*ed"…personal pool, space-style lounge chairs, hardwood panelled walls….and the list goes on!

Worth it? Depends, do you make $250,000 a year or only $25,000 a year? Thats your answer

  • AreWeThereYet

These are concrete blocks fucking up the real place. Why not go someplace and live how they live and not import your current lifestyle?

What was that Joni Mitchell line? They paved paradise . . .

    • TinyTimmy

Arewethereyet – having been to Thailand twice, you would most definitely not want to "live how they live" – don't try to pretend like you have a 'cultural experience' with every place you go. Thai people barely scrape by, have to survive in a country that lives on cheap tourism paid for by mostly nasty tourists (screwing their women/children for a few bucks, getting hammered and trashing anything in sight, drugs, etc.) Best thing you could do is learn about Thailand before you go, practice a couple of friendly phrases, and just respect the culture while you're there – and the cool things you could afford to do (like stay in a nice place where in America would cost you thousands). You can indulge and not be a poophead you know. There are lots of 'cement' places yes, but not everyone wants to pay $2 a night solely so they can tweet about how they are 'living with the people'.

      • AlwaysSunny

As someone who is writing this from rural Thailand right now (been here for about 16 months) I can say that living with the people is not bad at all. Yes, most houses don't have air-con, cable tv, and a two car garage but the most people are doing better than "barely scrape by." You might want be careful what you say about a place that you have been a tourist in twice.

fuck, I'm happy if I can get afford an hourly room in the heart of atlanta…..fuckin' rich people

Wow…from the web page, huh? They *really* need to employ someone with excellent bilingual skills. For $600/night they need to spend the extra bucks. The translation program they’re using sucks…and could indicate less than stellar customer service.

  • Marcus

If it is in Thailand why does it have a spanish name?

    • Greg

Why is there an Pollo Loco in Texas?

  • northerner

Beautiful. Ten nights, 6 grand plus plane and ground transport and meals. Pricey vacation. But, if you can afford it, looks very worth it. Beautiful amenities. Beautiful area. WAY outta my league. But nice to dream about.
