    #19 Planking done right

    • Paula_

      Yeah, I'd plank that!
But as far as the other pics go: it's spelled B-E-R-R-Y. theberry.com. Isn't that the whole reason The Berry exists, so you guys can dump sissy yawn-invoking galleries there? Isn't The Berry sort of the green recycle bin of The Chive so the unfit photos at least have some sort of function so your failed efforts don't completely go to waste?

      Hugs,
      Paula

    • ThatGuy

#10 nothing simpler than making your own island.

  • Seannerz

#2 No matter how loud, busy, and stressful it was living there and no matter how many times I still pass through fighting off insane traffic, I'll always love Chicago.

    • MOAR

Gotta love the Air & Water show. Sitting on a beach in Chicago with the skyline behind you watching a F-22 Raptor fly over the water. Never gets old.

      • Juan

The show is even better if you're on a boat on the water! Been out there for the past 6 years and it never gets old.

    • Kuba Wrobel

Living downtown during my college years was the best time of my life for sure. Love the city so much.

    • McBeastie

Lived in Ravenswood near the Northside for 3 years and still miss Chicago to this day. Even when the snow was coming down sideways and the icy cold wind nearly took me off my feet, it's still an awesome town.

      • Gooner29

I'm not saying this because I live here… but I truly believe Chicago is the greatest city in the US. It might be horrible in the winter, but during the summer there is no where better.

      Ditto.

I think that is the river that flows out of Silver Springs in FL. The river flows out of the tourist trap and continues to look like this for quite some distance. Several years ago I stopped at a highway rest stop in FL and followed a little path in the woods to stretch my legs and it led me to a scene that looked like this. I thought I was dreaming. Obviously the locals knew about the spot from the path a rope swing into the river, but not a soul was there at that time. That was 1987. I hope it is still unspoiled.

      • steve

Most of the rope swings are gone. There are still a few on the Ocklawaha river that the Silver River flows into, but that water is tannic.
