Mars as you’ve never seen it before (24 photos)

Dutchman Kees Veenenbos has been featured in National Geographic for his digital rendering techniques of a beautiful and eery landscape of Mars. The images were rendered in a landscape program called Terragen.

    #23 um pretty sure mars doesn't have actual bodies of water? I don't exactly keep up on it so don't flame me here, but last I'd hear as evidence was little more then conjecture over possible pockets of frozen or gas based water. But not whole standing regions of blue* as the sky it LACKS* water.

    Yes, you save them and then apply them as wallpapers, duh. Might have to crop a bit to get the right aspect ratio for your monitor, but it's hardly something that requires a high level of skill.
