#36 For the umpteen peeps who posted that's NYC, not Minnesota, I was about to post this any way and then I saw the responses: I wonder if the camels-in-Minnesota jive is meant as a wink to a story Kevin Smith tells about working on a documentary for Prince.

Smith knew Prince's one-time publicist and she often acted as a go-between for them, and one day Smith was telling her that he didn't think he could do what Prince was asking him to do (which turned out to be making a recruitment video for Prince's faith, Jehovah's Witnesses). She tried to convince him to go ahead with the documentary by, in part, telling Smith that Prince "has been living in Prince World for some time now" and to illustrate her point she told him that Prince once asked his staff to bring him some camels.
