The story behind this pic is pretty sad. This happened in Toronto. Some a**hole started attacking a bunch of raccoons with a shovel because they were wandering around his garden. The mom ran off with a bunch of her babies

You can say AWWW if you want to, but German hunters actually used these dogs to hunt badgers. Believe it or not, Daschund actually means “badger dog” or “hold dog.” These little dogs were not only created to hunt these badgers, but were also trained to actually go in the holes the badger burrow themselves in and keep the badger from escaping.
