Attn Chivers:
We are in final stages of approvals with Apple to re-launch theCHIVE iPhone app. The original CHIVE app was not built by us, nor was it controlled by us. It had a lot of glitches/crashed quite a bit and was a poor reflection on theCHIVE brand.
We have finally re-built a new and improved CHIVE app that will be launching SOON. There will be two versions launching, theCHIVE Lite and CHIVE Pro. theCHIVE Lite will be free and be ad supported. CHIVE Pro will be $.99 and will be ad free AND include video.
This is NOT an update, it is a completely new app so if you have downloaded the old app, you will want to permanently delete this from your iPhone and iTunes.

Id like to know whats going on too. Also CHIVE hey…..ya …..you…….pay attention now,
if you are in need of an android dev. its easy to find one. im sure someone in your office has an android phone. Use it. Find an app you think is done well and contact that dev. Tell him that thousands of Chivers everywhere will be heartbroken if he doesnt make you an app.
While I have a Droid Charge, that can surf the full version of theCHIVE, I would like to have an official app. Soon…

The Chive would make a killing bc it's totally worth it to pay the $.99 for the App…Chivers of the World WILL unite for you….if you build it, they will buy….but don't string on too long as you don't want to piss them off =P
Its seriously been almost two months. if yall were in the final segments of talkin to apple then shouldnt it have been done by now for heavens sake?
WHY THE HELL DID I LOSE MY PHONE?! I had theChive app on it, then I get a new iPhone, and I can't even get the one that had the glitches. I COULD OF DEALT WITH THE GLITCHES TILL THE OFFICIAL ONE!
I've been waiting 3 months.
Making an announcement that makes a claim of providing the ability to pay for a product in the very near future and then providing zero updates for months is also a bad reflection on the chive brand.
Alright it’s been over two months since the Chive said the new app would be out “SOON” and not so much as an update on when we can expect to see it!!?!? Come on Chive, the least you can do is let us know what’s going on.

Well, Chive. Looks like you are failing .. miserably. No update on when this app is will be available for purchase shows poorly on your management of advertising and care for your customers/fans. Because of the wait and non-caring of the people wanting this app should be available for free.
