It's actually the closing credits.

It's probably just the director being funny and inserting the footprints of two students kissing in a corner… There have been enough scenes of students kissing in the corridors that it's a fairly reasonable conclusion. Although, yes, the insert into the credits is funny.

And Dan is correct – it's from the ending credits, not the beginning.
