#23 John Candy was so underrated when he was around…he could have used his weight as a source of comedy to gain popularity (nothing against Farley, just think he degraded himself too much) but instead he was a fantastic actor in comedy and could be hilarious with out forcing it.

Farley will remain the king of fat comedians for a long time. His sketches on SNL were golden, and helped make SNL what it was in it's prime. A wise man once said "if you can't laugh at yourself, you can't laugh at anyone else."

I agree, Farley did change SNL, but Farley's brother wrote a book on his life and said that a lot of those "fat" jokes did rip him up inside. Said that after his famous Chip & Dale skit, he was actually torn up completely and brought to tears when talking to his brother about it.

Farley was labeled quickly as the "fat funny guy" and was stuck in the roll until his early death.

The Change Up actually looks funny, and I have no problem noting that.

Also, for all you freakin wieners complaining about Chive selling some space, shut the f**k up! This is a FREE access site that happens to offer some funny shit. They also have no problem being known as a photo aggregation site. They do not claim to create the stuff that is posted, they simply group it, and post it.

They also do it better than many other places out there, hence the traffic. We don't have to come here, but we do. There's a reason for that. This is also the reason that so many of us put our own money on the line for Canadian Lilli a few weeks ago.

We don't have to come here, but we do, again and again. It costs us nothing but time (lots, and lots of time!).

People who complain about Chive selling some space are basically internet hipsters. They don't like that The Chive is popular, so they feel the need to complain about it. Fine, complain, fuck off somewhere else and complain.

The problem we are talking about is that they have Ads all over the we site already so why have to include it in a post? They are paying their bills with those ads and people who buy their shirts.

I agree that people hate on the popular sites but the posts like this that are all about having an advertisement is stupid to have.
