Hey that's me.
Of course it a Guinness shirt! it's Alec Guinness! Jeez!
Jesus came and died for us to set us free from the laws of the old testament, if you still believed that then everyone is going to hell cause it also says thou shall not wear cloths of blended fiber. some of the other laws include not letting different types of livestock graze in the same fields, dont cut your hair or shave, and Any person who curseth his mother or father, must be killed. so lets do a little research before bible bashing. and i do have a question to anyone believing in full on evolution, why do we have no hair all over our body anymore? in every environment you see fur is a essential element of survival and temperature regulation for animals. if natural selection truly existed wouldnt we have died out due to our lack of fur? im not trying to completely disprove evolution or make anyone angry, i really do want to know the answer to that if anyone knows
Modern man evolved in Africa, where it is clearly pretty damn hot. Fur insulates quite well, so most animals in Africa, especially in the equatorial region, are constantly trying to cool themselves off, either by sitting in the shade, coating themselves with mud, swimming, etc. Because we, as humans, evolved in some pretty dry areas it simply makes more sense to have less fur. The early humans with lots hair would die of heat stroke, leaving the humans with less hair left to procreate. And to be more accurate, humans are still covered in hair, it has just thinned out on most of the body. In terms of temperature regulation we kind of have an ace up the sleeve. Whereas most animals pant to cool down, we are able to sweat. To give another example of moderate evolution visible today in modern man, look at different races. People who live in extremely sunny climates have darker skin, such as africans, native americans, pacific islanders. But because europe is far more forested, cooler, and less sunny, we have developed light skin, lighter hair, even lighter eyes. The farther north you go, the lighter things get. Thats why Scandinavian nations are known to have many blonde hair, blue eyed people. Im glad you asked this. I honestly feel most people who dont believe in evolution do so because it has never been explained to them in a way that the average joe can understand.
Thank you for answering that! I actually remember hearing that but didt remember till i read your reply. I still believe in christianity and i dont think that would suprise you. Personally i have always believed in evolution to an extent because there is too much evidence to support it, and i can see how that can tie into christianity very well. such as the story of adam and eve, it never gives a description of what they looked like maybe they were cavemen in africa where life originated. the problem most people have with the bible is that they believe word for word undoubtably that it is correct where in reality the bible is open for interpretation that is why every biblical scholor has a different interpretation. thank you for your reply and for being so civil, im not used to that especially on the internet when i ask questions about a touchy topic
I just paid $22.87 for an iPad2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $675 which only cost me $62.81 to buy. Here is the website we use to get it all from, BidsOut .cÓm
