#1 actually saw this on one of those "how did I survive shows". The balloon was pushed by strong wind onto the spike thing. From there the middle aged man and his 14 year old girl (really don't remember who was on blimp that well) climbed out of the basked and clung to the ladder like part of the spike thing. They began to climb down when about 1/6 of the way down the balloon fell of the spike and plummeted toward the ground. All people involved came out fine.
