Lauren – sorry to hear about your trip ICU. Hope you get well soon. While you're recovering, I'm starting a posse and we're going to track down this fucking seagull. Once caught we're going to give it a disease from which it will not recover. I know this kinda shit wouldn't happen in Texas, our gulls know better. I hope this bit of humor (seriously, we're going to fuck this bird up) and use it to get well soon. Hope to see a sexy new, "I've recovered" pic soon.

Hang in there, Lauren. Watch for relapse and take it real easy. Pneumonia can take a couple of months to recover from, and you're going to have to get used to the idea that you're not just laying around, you're recovering. That part may be tougher than anything else for you. There is a long list of "must nots" and only two major "musts"; take the complete course of antibiotics, and take your temp every day for a few weeks. I will be praying for your speedy recovery.

Clarification needed – was it an actual feathery seagull, or a person on the roof seagulling? I ask because I was under the impression that you'd need some pretty intimate contact with a seagull to catch chlamydia. Also, get well soon.

ohhh LG – hope you get back on it soon. Eat lots of pies. I got bacterial pneumonia aged 1 and nearly died!
