Everytime I see pictures in this item I'm thinking "Yes, I AM going away" to a nice tropical island named Curacao for 5 months. When I'm there I'll make sure a picture from there will end up in this item
I thought it was a very lovely story, and you tell it so well, with such enthusiasm.
yay after 30 of these posts i've been to one of these places. #3 awesome half dome hike in yosemite, california.
You're right, and this person is standing on what is known as the "diving board". I stood on it and my legs got a little weak.
Just yesterday someone fell (or jumped) off Half Dome and plunged 4,000 feet to their death.
It was the second death on Half Dome this year and the 15th for the year for the entire park. BTW, that opening in the rocks underneath the "diving board" leads to a ledge that you can barely sit on with your feet dangling over 2,000 feet of air. It's a freaky and exhilirating experience.
One of the coolest things i've ever done was to stand right there on top of half dome. My friend took out his iphone just before we went down the to check if he had service and dropped it down the ropes. The phone skidded all the way down in between the two cables and broke in half at the bottom. One half was at the bottom of the ropes, the other continued down 2,000 feet to the valley floor
Every time I see a picture of someone standing really close to a ledge…instant sweaty palms.
What the fuck is with the cursor on #9? It kind of pisses me off.
Yeah ruins what would otherwise be an awesome wallpaper. =/
That's the hand of the LORD
#4 The U. haha.
I like how she's pretending that she's not paying attention to the camera.
F the U
#20 Ummmm FAILshopped!!!

#18 What I wouldn't do just to live there. Alas, like my fellow Canadian Chivers and Chivettes, I'm stuck working in my office in a major city like Toronto.
Sigh… I want my life back.
I hear ya'. I work in NYC and I miss the days when I was a kid and we would take family trips to places like this.
