As a child of the 80′s, I look at this and wonder “If the point of your argument is that you had an imagination, then how cone all you talk about is all the toys you had?”

I was thinking the same thing. They had computers, game systems, over 300 channels and are the most over dependant generation on technology. This is complete BS, I vote to have it removed! LOL

I don't know what kind of games you played with your toys, but using you imagination with your toys was the best part of having them. Epic cross over with ninja turtles and g.i. joe was the way I went. Needed an imagination for that one.

And those weren't the original Nickelodeon cartoons.

Last line – "We didn't have xbox 360s or laptops we had imaginations"…

First paragraph "we had Tomagotchis and the original gameboys"… so much for that imagination you claimed to have.

85' here, ask them what rabbit ears are, my parents first bought cable tv for me at the end of your decade!! The only positive things was the team of the 90's, the Atlanta Braves!!! Go Braves!

I was born in 87 and even I think this is laughable.

A cartoon is someone else's idea. This idea of generational superiority is stupid. Our grandparent's generation thought they were better than our parents and our parent's generation thinks the same of ours. Someday kids born in 2011 will think they are so much better. It's all total bs.
