I think now's a right moment for "Burn your bra Tuesday " or something :D.

  • Da Sandman

#9 actually, it's made out of coffee beans like any other coffee, except for the fact that it travelled through the luwak's entire digestive system first…

    • zTom

And is the most expensive coffee in the world apparently, said to be the best.

  • DieLawn19k

#10 Rocky Mountain Oysters are actually pretty damn good, there's a place in Denver that beer batters them and then deep fries them. They come with this amazing sauce too, don't hate it until you try it!

    • Miller

I tried them in Montana, totally agree. Although they were a bit chewy

    • Slimey

I'll agree, I had them for the first time while i was stationed in Oklahoma, a fellow worker (Jeff Stobaugh) brought them over for a UFC fight, said it was fried chicken balls … There were none left after the first couple fights, then he dropped the RMO bomb … damn near everyone asked if there were more … couple of people were pretty pissed off …

  • dong

Other than Human Placenta and Ox penis, i would like an order of each please. yum :)

  • Larry Molano

could've gone without this. the DAR better come early and fix this one

  • dfoggers

    Good thing I didn't want breakfast anyway….

  • Mudmonkey

    No. Ever.

  • Caitlin

this looks like andrew zimmern's favorite foods :/ barf.

  • PianoFingers

#16 had me confused a bit – the pic looked like gas mask soup until I figured out the glasses on the table behind the dish.

  • ront

    #18 is sea cucumber

  • @StrongAsMeat

    #9 For $100-$600 a pound, I'd try this coffee in a heartbeat. I wouldn't pay for it mind you…

  • daveh873

    Simpsons did it

  • Dan

#2 how the fuck do you "half-fertilize" something BOB?

    • TomTheCameraGuy

Thank you. That bothered me almost as much as these idiots thinking placenta is a synonym for fetus.

  • Growapair

Grow the F up. Why is cow or pig bloody hunks of muscle any less gross than this stuff? Excepting the placenta of course. How about unfertilized chicken embryos? You all eat that shit everyday. Some seems a bit odd, but culture has weird edibles. BTW that maggot cheese is from Italy.

  • paulafan

I guess I will skip breakfast this morning….

  • spex

I've had a couple of these and I'd try the rest once, except #19. I draw the line at human bits, and any species that I've had as a beloved pet (I once cooked and ate a pet crawfish, but I hated that little bastard).

  • lelos

    Dothraki drink that!! #20

    • T-Payne

I am shaking my head at myself because I know what you're talking about.

  • The Bacon Chronicles

    No no no no no.

  • Juoil

#8 Is even more awesome. Those maggots in the cheese jump! So when you eat that, people usually cover their eyes so that they don't get hit by the flying things.

I've never understood why spiders are more digusting than shrimps…

    • Red Daisy

Because shrimp don't crawl over you at night while you are sleeping, or drop from the ceiling into your bed.

      • amrith777

That YOU know of anyway *ninja shrimp*

      • Juoil

So you have even more reasons to find them tasty, vengeance is sweet, as they say.

  • Eric

#12 actually isnt that bad. I ate several type of bugs in my day and they actually taste pretty good.

    • slimey

The ones in the cup in the back here in South Korea are called "bundigie" (silk worm larva) boiled in a big pot most of the time and smell awful, my wife and daughter eat them, i tried them once back in the late 90's and never again … the dried crickets and stuff aren't that bad …

  • kathryn

    #3 and #12
I actually ate these in Cambodia.
Not as bad as everyone thinks!
And there's nothing wrong with trying new things :)

  • FIX IT

  • Carlos

I've tried at least 2 of the dishes from the list, and must say (fugu #11 and sheep head #15). Fugu it is awesome, and the sheep head, it has great meat around the bones. I would prefer it without the brains, since they are "sandy".

    • Cerb

Yeah, the sheep head is basically just like any other part of a sheep. Not a big deal apart from the brain and maybe the eyes (and the stare.. )

  • marmor

#19 although I would not eat it, just think about it, I have had a couple of female dogs and every time they had puppies they ate the placenta of each of their puppies, I remember very clearly that at first we would try to stop her but, my mother told us that if it was not nature's intention for this to happen then it would not occur.

  • Clover

#15 O god it's still looking at me!!!
