As has been pointed out, yes, that is Saint-Petersburg, not Moscow. The building behind is the Winter Palace – the storming of it by the Bolsheviks in 1917 commenced the catastrophe of the Soviet experiment for the next 70 years. Its dismal failure has brought about all sorts of welcome things – like the sight of Emma Moto cruising up and down Nevsky Prospekt!
