My cat is awesome with my kids. I'm convinced that somehow she recognizes my little ones as "kittens" and tolerates crap from them with an annoyed expression that she'd tear my arm to shreds over.

that cat must have been declawed because the whole ears back front paws in front of face thing is a cat being pissed off and attacking what has pissed it off. the assholes who own the cat probably let the baby "play" with the cat, knowing it has no claws, and let the cats tail get pulled till it snapped. than recorded it b/c the baby thought the cat was giving it a hug. totally not cool.

If you don't know the difference between a cat play fighting and actually being in attack mode, then maybe you should just remain silent on the issue. The fact that the child wasn't crying shows that the cat was just playing. It might have been declawed but it could still use it's teeth if it wanted.

It could have also used its back claws, or simply left. My cat plays like this quite often. As for being 'pissed' as you say Rene, a cats tail will tell its attitude much more than the ears.
So maybe, just maybe, Kitty was happy just playing with the baby for a few seconds, so STFU!
