      Really a pretty low possibility, but regardless what rank is that? Uniform looks navy but I don't recognize the rank insignia.

        3) If he is a Corpsman he will provide medical aid to Army, Navy and Marines in combat zones. If not he'll probably just paint ships somewhere…

        Yes, please tell me about the likelihood of his rank. I'm sure you know a lot, seeing as how you can't read collar insignia.

    -no insignia on the cover
    -not US rank on the collars
    -wearing the National Defense Service Ribbon but no other US insignia
    The guy is either faking it (strong probability there), a cadet of some sort (another possibility that is pretty strong), or it's not a US service member.

    Actually he is a service member that is a real rank hes in the navy and a corpsman. Hes actually one of my students at a course hes in. No idea where hes at in the picture or why he was lame enough to put this picture up though .

    Everyone in the US military rates a National Defense Medal. Chive is one of my favorite sites but I wouldn't dream of submitting a picture of myself in uniform with stuff written on my body.

      Couldn't agree more, Guns. This guy is out of regs 100% with that trash written on his hand. I'm sure his intentions were good, but he needs a Cheif to calibrate his ass right about now.
