Last season was a little hit or miss but the "hit" stuff was pretty funny. It's definitely a particular sense of humor though and I can see how a lot of people might not care for it; I was slightly surprised it got picked up for a second season but was glad it did.

But please don't equate that terrible movie (rated 0% on Rottentomatoes BTW!) with the TV show. It's definitely not THAT bad!
My favorite sketch from last season was the HR meeting for the company that puts on donkey shows.

Oh but yeah, the full page ads get really annoying because I use my mouse wheel to scroll and I always "click" the page before scrolling to make sure it's locked on that tab and of course that pops up the annoying ad. Why isn't it enough just to display it, Chive?

It is a competition, but the winner is supposed to be the couple that DESERVES the dream wedding the most – not the couple who surfs the right websites. I'm not saying this couple is any less deserving than the others – but it should have been decided on merit, not on whether they're chivers.
Giving this couple the dream wedding simply because they're chivers and the other couples aren't is like awarding the Superbowl to whatever team could get more of their fans in the stadium – sure it shows they can get more random people to support them but it doesn't show they're the better team.

I'm definitely on the fence about the moral grounds of this, but "winning" something like this takes a certain amount of networking all around. I would be very surprised to find anyone who could get 1000 votes for anything on facebook from legitimate "friends," let alone 4k+.

Also, there isn't any way to define merit in a raffle like this since there is no way to justify who has 'suffered' more to deserve an awesome wedding more than anyone else.

Thats what's great about theChive, though, it is a community (though relatively anonymous) and can come together to support fellow members who love the awesomeness of internet ridiculousness through this one site. Everyone comes here to feel happy (except for maybe a few trolls, but even paula has her (his?) upsides) and when people who are apart of this community who fall on bad times, like REALLY bad times, why not help them out?

Nick Swardson's stand-ups are hilarious and he has some great movie roles (see: Grandma's Boy). With that being said, holy shit that show is fucking terrible. Who was drunk that signed off on season 2?

DITO… when i first heard he had a show coming way back when i thought… "dude? awesome!!" watched it… and then i almost immediately stopped watching. Grandma's Boy was perhaps the highlight of his humor for me…
