The reunion isn't as they made it look. This the 2nd take. They put those two clowns safely inside a vehicle to see first whether the lion was going to try and chew their heads off. Once reacquainted, they let the hippies out and filmed this so-called 'first meeting.' Also they didn't buy the lion because they felt sorry for it. They were rich kids who thought it would be cool to have a pet lion, without any regard for what would happen when it got too big for their apartment.
Don't hate on me. I'm just sayin'…

It is quite amazing how this large "wild" cat acts like a typical house cat. Giving what I call "Nuzzies!" (bashing its head into you and rubbing up and down) along with the hugs and what not.

Seriously makes me want to rescue a large wild cat. It would probably be the ultimate short term pet. Walking down the street with a fucking Siberian Tiger on a leash = Baller!
