It is, bro. And dried, it is only half as hot as a fresh one. Fucking incredible when finely chopped and mixed into spaghetti sauce. Pretreat with one scoop of ice cream. Chase with one scoop of icecream.

Indeed he is. I once had three small drops of the oil on a pulled pork sandwich, and my eyes wouldn't stop watering, I was sweating buckets, and my mouth was an inferno for a couple of hours.

Agreed. As someone who has grown these and other peppers for years, I have to admit he handled that whole, albeit small Bhut Jolokia very well. I also appreciate the humor, but the Naga/Bhut Jolokia have a wonderful fruity taste and do not, "taste" like fire. I think spicy pineapple is more appropriate.

No it isnt moron, ghost peppers have a higher scoville rating. 'Da Bomb The Final Answer' uses habanero. If they made the same sauce with the same measurement of ghost pepper (as they used habanero) it would absolutely be hotter. Da Bomb's ghost pepper sauce just uses a finite amount in their sauce because of its potency.

There's a restaurant in Portland, OR called Killer Burger. They serve a burger called The Marine that uses four of these peppers. I ate it once and spent the next fifteen hours wanting to die.

Yeah, I had a little bite of one at a beer tasting once and I will never make that mistake again. My mouth was on fire for at least 20 minutes. I can only imagine eating four whole ones…

I did the stupid wing challenge in Richmond VA that was on Man vs Food and that had crushed ghost chili sprinkled all over it. By far the most intesnse pain I've ever felt in my life. Eating it isn't the worst part of it at all, it's the feeling of lava in your stomach that's the most intense.

They use roasted habanero NOT ghost peppers. Not the same thing! Ghost peppers have a higher scoville rating. While I'm sure tackling The Marine would be near impossible for most people they just arent as hot as ghost peppers.
