    • NebraskaGuy

I laughed too loud at that one and now everyone in the room wants to know what was so funny … !

  • adsfsd

#6 There's no fighting in the War Room!

  • DavesNotHere_15

#13 soo much better than #2 (can't believe it didn't kill the franchise)

    • Stan_Dalone

      Love Star Trek w/Spock

    • derp

There was no franchise when the first motion picture was released. Only 3 seasons of the cancelled original series. As bad as it looks today it still launched the franchise and gave JJ.Abrams the chance to tell his version. You just got schooled.

      • guy722

Technically, #2 is from the sixth movie in the series, not the first. There was a franchise by that point.

      • KenRayJen

        School on

      • DavesNotHere_15

Star Trek: The Motion Picture didn't launch anything but people from their seats, and if you knew half as much as you thought you did you'd know it was highly anticipated and then widely ridiculed for pretty much sucking assholes. Star Trek II actually launched the movie franchise and was good enough to sustain it through half a dozen more shitty movies. (The pic probably is from a later film though)

  • Foreverwaiting

    Great seeing this post back

  • AssClown

#1 It's funny cause the man in the background is black.

    • heh

      he stole the wand

  • @DFawkes

Not to nitpick (okay, so I am. Sorry for lying there, please forgive me!) but #2 has to be the Star Trek III: Search for Spock – she's in the uniform from WoK onwards, and the ship layout in the background is the USS Excelsior. Though to be fair it could be Star Trek IV too, I just think that's less likely.

And no, I haven't had a lot of sex lately :p

    • doreen

DFawkes you're honest, and you're a Star Trek geek. I like that.

    • Prof. Fate

THANK you, I couldn't muster the courage to point this out.

    • morebeer

I think the part about sex could have been assumed

  • derp

#2 Nope, that's Star Trek VI: The undiscovered country.

    • JAK

Correct. It is Star Trek VI.

Nimoy only appeared at the very end of ST III. So why would he be wearing the Vulcan ears on the Excelsior set? Also Rand's hair was different in ST III, plus she wasn't on the Excelsior until ST VI.

      I rest my case.

  • Guesty

#11 – Eli Roth, one sick, vegan mother-effer. Although good as the "Bear Jew". He should stick to acting.

    • Ling

if he had only been an actor, we wouldn't have had cabin fever. if we wouldn't have had cabin fever, we would not have had the pancakes scene. pancakes scene = one of the best things ever to put on film.

      • Really?

Had he not been a director, he would have never been cast as the "Bear Jew". He didn't get that part on merit.

Film needs sick M-Fers who push the limits and fight against the bullshit ratings boards. I say less acting, more writing/directing/producing. And make Thanksgiving already.

  • Wet_tosti

    I.LOVE.THIS. #12

  • Dan

#9 Great movie! Too bad it wasn't a big success at the box office.

    • MrBanana

It had a small enough budget where it made money, especially with the overseas income added in. It is also a huge cult hit on DVD and has done well in home distribution. It didn't set the world on fire by any means, but it was a success

  • CasperSack

#18 I would still hit that

    • @CaptainInfinity

You mean George Lucas? I agree. I would like to hit him repeatedly for the prequels.

    • Dan

I don't think George is gay.

  • MrRushing
