#11 I loved Portal 1 and 2 was good, but I beat both in under 3 hours.Lot more games are tattoo worthier.

    • Bob

I hope you meant "No games are tattoo worthy"

      • DrROBOTO

Never. Video games teach morals, brings people together and is an awesome waste of time. Better than getting some girls name on you.Video games don't cheat. Unless you type in the code.

        • M.M.

You should frame that next to your WOW posters

        • Aye

okay what morals are learnt from mortal kombat….
          or from wrestling games.

You say video games don't cheat, but most people cheat on the video game…

also most game tattoos are fucking stupid, case and point being that portal one.

    • Craigery

Game quality isn't measured in number of hours played. If I play Farmville for 300 hours, does that mean it's 100 times better than Portal?

      • DrROBOTO

Maybe not 100 times better, but if you enjoyed all 300 hours I would say yes its substantially better.

      • wolowizard

I'd say you need therapy if you willingly played farmville for 300 hours.

    • MacMan

Sounds like a bunch of non pussy getting dudes to me, except for Bob……

      • DrROBOTO

        Whatever you say Bob.

      • Minion 26

You don't need to assume I don't get laid because I play games in fact I have sex while playing games sometimes its very challenging and fun for the both of us. Its best to do it during a competitive game that way you win when there concentration wavers

  • Holy Hell

    Ironic, isn't it ?

    • http://twitter.com/itsjaredlol @itsjaredlol

If it were an actual fire extinguisher, yes, but since it's clearly a lighter by its size and you can see the parts that make it a lighter, it's more of just a joke.

If it were the size of an extinguisher and it exploded or shot fire for some reason, it would be ironic.

Welp, cya. Gonna go ruin someone else's comment now.

      • SkyVader

You should have just said, "Yeah".

    • Craigery

Like rain on your wedding day.

  • Whiskyb

#7 Is that not how it feels walking behind every umbrella out there

  • wjgnndsnboen

    Happy Firday Chivers!!

  • chicago

#9 Cool idea. I will do this. Thanks Chive.

  • Owen Smithers

#21 So then how are you going to create a new batch of wealth once you've spent all theirs?

    • Craigery

I think you're missing the point.

      • Tomas

They have no point. THAT'S the point.

    • JAS

I think it's funny that they're all standing about saying they want to take other people's wealth away from them, and then cry because their biggest problem is people stealing from them. Irony in it's highest magnitude.

But I pity the people who have $80,000+ of school debt and didn't get any job related skills. They need to protest the school that screwed them over, not the banks that paid for their crappy education.

      • j22

They were suckered into thinking that a college education guarantees a high paying job.

Gov. guarantees loans for housing for people who cant afford it
        Housing prices skyrocket
        Housing market crashes
        Gov. bailout / taxpayer debt

Gov. guarantees loans for tuition for people who cant afford it (but think they will be able to)
        Tuition prices skyrocket
*prediciton: students protest for more gov. assistance paying for the loans (or providing "free" college)
        Gov. bailout / taxpayer debt

        • Owen Smithers

Yep, government sabotages us, by voters who don't understand or value the importance of liberty, and then is ready to rush in and 'help' us with our problems. All with our own money…minus a goodly percent to administer the help. Wake up people! Demand to retain your liberty and your property! Demand your elected officials follow the Constitution or amend it in the proper way (ensuring the biggest buy-in). This is all so easy to lose….and will be so hard to gain back if lost…

      • McBeastie

I'm still not sure you get it. Fairly taxing the wealthy, stopping corporate bailouts and ending the insane corporate lobbying in Washington is not an example of irony or people standing about wanting other people's money. Sure, there are some dirty hippies in there that mush up the message and want everyone to live off the land or something, but the majority of people in the occupy movement are in it to stop corporate corruption in our government. Not a bad thing to get behind if you ask me.

        • Owen Smithers

Good! Stop corporate corruption…stop all corruption where ever you find it, but do not kill the golden goose of Capitalism. Do not destroy liberty by demanding more and more government oversight. Take personal responsibility for yourself and your actions. Do business with reputable companies and shun corrupt ones. Don't vote for people on the take. These 99%ers have some serious flaws when they talk of destroying what has given them the very ability to safely and affordably protest in the first place.

          • Rrrrrandy

            spoken like a true libertarian

            • THIS IS MADNESS!!!

Seems more like a capitalist to me. If you don't like a company, whether it be because they have a crappy product or you don't like how they handle business, you spend your money at their competition. If they really are bad people will, or at least in theory should, do the same thing. The fact that these people get these gigantic bonuses is because the consumers give them the ability too. as for the CEO's etc. who got millions while their company was run into the ground was because they knew they could. Some of us Chive at work which is essentially getting paid to do awesomeness, or in some bosses' eyes nothing, but we do it because we can get away with it. if they know the gov. will give them free money, which is our, the taxpayers and the consumers, money. Why do a better job and work hard if there are no repercussions. If these Occupy protesters want to see real change, they should protest in D.C. and demand political reform. They, however, have to be reasonable. If they want to ax corporations rights to donate to campaigns, then unions have to give up that right as well. Equality in America is in the political and legal realm.

        • rabble

Cap campaigne funding at a set amount (ex: 1-$5 million) and make public where all contributions come from/ where the money goes to.

          • Owen Smithers

Don't cap, but definably make public!!! Your money, whether personal, or from a company who you choose to do business with is part of your right to free speech! It shall not be infringed.

            • THIS IS MADNESS!!!

I think that is where the problem lies though. Does money really count as speech and is government supposed to be run as that business transaction, as you imply? I'm not trying to bash you or anything because money is really the only universal "language" everybody can use, even courts say so when they make people or companies pay fines etc. That, however, brings up the problem of a doing business/ business transaction/etc. When I go to a restaurant and give them money I expect food in return. When I go to a store I expect a product in return. If I donate millions of dollars to get some guy or gal elected I'm going to want something in return. It applies to both Republicans and Democrats, which is why they are idiots if they side with the Democrats. For example, look at Obama's jobs bill. Working on infrastructure created jobs in the Great Depression because it took hundreds of men to do the work by hand. Today it takes a fraction to do the same work, but working on infrastructure today will only help people in those fields. He is just doing it to secure votes for his re-election. I was supporting him until I heard that he was trying to pull this off. Ideals are nice to have, but they stand for nothing if they are completely impractical and you are a two-face. Sorry about the long ass political idea rant, but I just wanted to share my thoughts and see what others think. Thanks for reading!

        • http://www.facebook.com/bill.whittle Bill Whittle

So stop protesting against capitalism and star protesting against what it is: MERCANTILISM. CRONYISM. "Crony Capitalism" is a contradiction in terms. Capitalism is the belief in a free and open market where companies succeed and fail on their own merits — by the quality of service they provide. Mercantilsm is the government writing laws and tax codes to favor those companies that provide them with the largest campaign contributions. These people should be outside 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, not Wall Street.

And if you don't like the way an individual corporation does business — DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THAT CORPORATION. Still waiting to see the armed forces that grab people kicking and screaming past the authentic mom and pop stores and forcing them at gunpoint to hand their money to WalMart. The Private sector is VOLUNTARY. The public sector is COERCIVE. You don't like the treatment at the DMV you don't get to go to a better government.

      • everyone

JAS, even people with a crappy city college education realize what you're saying is completely stupid.

    • its_forge

You really think money trickles down? Ha, sheep.

      • Owen Smithers

Well, it has to go somewhere. If it's not even being created it can't trickle anywhere.

        • THIS IS MADNESS!!!

Agreed. It's not like they are hoarding like crazy cat ladies. Are… Are they?

#4 What am I missing here?

I think it is a cool device for protecting a parking space. You have to lower the bar to be able to park and I assume only the one with a key can do it.

        park your motorcycle on it….
