He is known as the Wizard throughout all of New Zealand, so naturally we gave him his licence in his name

Ah…the Wizard of Christchurch. I remember being stationed there in the Navy in the 80"s and listening to him rant about politics, religion, and women in Christchurch Square every afternoon. Course, after his spiel, he'll ask "And what do you think of that?" and everyone would yell back, "Rubbish!" He also sold upside maps of the world that featured New Zealand on the top of the world. I still have it somewhere.

He was about to retire at one time, but the city of Christchurch paid him to stay. But I don't know what he's doing now. Pretty cool guy in talking to him.
