Tried this when I came home drunk. Even placed a plate in front that the bread landed on when it was ejected. One hint though: Make absolutely certain that the cheese is not larger than the bread. Any cheese exceeding the bread will melt extremely fast, drop to the heating spirals in the toaster and char/smoke/catch fire almost on impact. I found out the hard way: Burned cheese smells horrible, it ruined my toaster and smoke detectors going off at 4 a.m. are not funny for anyone…
