I would hope that The Chive would realize this is not a Warren Buffet quote. A simple search on Google for 10 seconds would tell you this is just a chain letter. I thought The Chive was better than that.

True. A simple search on Snopes.com would tell you that he said it on CNBC so you didn't embarrass yourself in the Chive comments section.

Warren Buffett did say the top quote, as a hypothetical in a much longer interview.

The second paragraph is a chain letter. There is no way to determine that if an email is forwarded to x number of random people that x % will read it by a certain date. It would need to be sent to 20 different people and each recipient would need to forward to a separate 20.

Buffett wouldn't be moronic enough to say that
