Uh, Ronald Regan is the one who started all this mess. I'm a Republican and even I know that. Cutting regulation and hoping that corporations will do the right thing helps make a golden age at first. But success is not measured by profit, it is measured by growth of profit. So they then had free reign to pull off bigger and bigger heists to one-up themselves until they finally broke America. The solution is actually being a Republican and letting the companies topple. The ones that replace them will do a better job. If they also happen to be owned by China then tough; shouldn't have screwed up so hard.

I really hope that the chivers know that Obama isn't to blame for this mess, and even that he has his hands tied to do anything that would actually help the US. As our friend up there said, this mess has it's roots along the 80's, just about when Reagan took office in the US, and Iron Maiden Tatcher in England and so on.
It's really hard to do something about anything when the guys that gave you the money to get ellected are the same ones that won't let you do a single measure of relief for the ones who really need it, 'cause it's against their interests.
