At first, I thought that putting animals in zoos like this might be allittle wrong. But I guess humans live in captivity too, and might be the reason why we actually have a chance to survive the next big event. Learning about animals in captivity might allow us to save other animals during a big event. Dogs and cats for sure! Yea vets!

So…at some point, a hippo’s body stops growing but the mouth doesn’t? I didn’t realize that a baby hippo mouth was proportionally so much smaller than an adult’s. Or that that a baby hippo was so darned cute
