Favorite day of the week 🙂

#18 wish they filmed the cats reaction all the way down

    • Anonymous

      Right. I bet it freaked.

    • Anonymous

Wonder if it was bad for the little guys ears and eyes. Hmm. Poor kii

    • somebloke

Making a kitty go skydiving seems pretty cruel – its not exactly natural, is it?

      • fed

i agree, i hope the cat scratched his balls out when they landed…

      • shanemcguire88

sure, but how many cats can say they've went skydiving in their life? lol

      • Lars

Cats always land on their feet ;o)

      • Do0zer

I agree also. This just seems demented.

    • Jennifer

D: WTF! What were you thinking?! That poor cat 😦 I'm surprised you didn't kill him from stress and panic.

    • tralfaz

It went something like this – "fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • TheAutomaticMan

hahahahaha, you comment made me laugh almost as much as the video. This shit is hilarious, you all need to hit the cheeba a little more and just chill man.

        • Leon

And you need to be forced to do something youre terrified of by someone you trust…. tool

          • TheAutomaticMan

I have, and after the fact, that turned out to be pretty funny too…..

          • TheAutomaticMan

I've seen pictures of dogs skydiving on here with their owners, people didn't flip out about that one, and in all reality, it is very unlikely the cat could even comprehend that it was thousands of feet in the air, how would it know what it looked like? It was most likely reacting to the air rushing by its paws considering it didnt really react untill this guy stepped to the doorway

            • Михаил Рикэттс

you obviously havnt owned a cat. they will freak out at 2 ft above the ground or 10,000ft above the ground the same way. having owned both (dogs and cats)…dogs are way more chill and i could see a chill dog hang gliding. cats are a totally different thing. while a horrible part of me chuckles at this….it is pretty demented to do this to a cat

    • Leon

      yea, Not Cool

    • SenorWilson

Maybe cruel, but humans are also scared to death the first time they skydive as well. The cat may have liked it.

      • Johnny_Doyle

People have a choice and an understanding, that cat had neither and you can see how freaked out it was. Why do you think they wrapped the claws up? Even the asshole that did it knew it was cruel and protected himself

    • Guest

I wish they'd just chucked it out the door.

    • Anjin77

I would promptly hulk smash the owner if he showed this to me for LOL reactions.

    • ecad

the fuck is wrong with white people?

      • EFP

@ecad hahahahahahahah… man that was funny

      • Marine Dad

Alot depending on who you ask! lol Not all white folks would do something like this.

  • Paula_

#28 damn all those cocks and pussies the Chive keeps posting these days…

Anywaysies; it's another sad day. Not even killing cats could cheer me up right meow.

    – the one who will miss her muse

    • torc

haha you got no negative responses so far!

      … this doesnt count?

    • Joey

I enjoy catching this post on Saturdays because it's a nice break from the pure T&A, why don't you keep your gonorrhea-infested trolling to the adult-focused posts?

      • Joey

Is your comprehension of the English language entirely retarded? My point was to take your "adult" style trolling elsewhere in the comments, I enjoy that this one (cats) is actually family-friendly.

        • Paula_

Ah, correct, I did misread your comment.
Enjoy the cats while they last.

#18 That kitty looks scared 😦

    • Anon

man… PETA should beat that person with a bat -_-

      • iwarnock

why PETA.. i hate them since they attacked mario and his tanooki suit -.- die PETA

        • Cody

naw, peta came out n said it was a joke. ther are much better reasons to hate peta

    • Cody

"i love my cat so much i took it skydiving with me! derp!' news flash, ur cat now hates u for life

  • Victor

You "bought" this cutie? There are a million people trying to give away unwanted kittens and you went to a store to buy one?

    • Scooter

Many stores also sell unwanted pets, both young and old, and charge an adoption fee.

    • Eezipc

Well said Victor. People who buy dogs and cats are idiots.

      • Paula_

No, just people who buy cats.

        – the one you love to hate

    • Señorita Pimienta (@Cadillac_Rosa)

Forget the people giving them away! Many will get put down in shelters, because people would rather buy one to show off their money and ignorance. Living beings are not another cool gadget, people!

      • Dan

Shelters charge for pets. How do you know that is not where they got theirs?

      • Anonymous

There are plenty of children that need homes too… should we stop having our own and only adopt?
I don’t think its to show off money, maybe its to have quality trained pets around children. I dont need a rescue pet attacking my child.

      • Balorati

Shelters charge for pets, and often they charge more than going to a pet store…you're showing off your own ignorance at the moment.

      • SimonPhoenix

yes they are. When I have to "license it", when I can "walk in, and have it "made" exactly as I desire.

yeah .. it may be a living breathing thing .. but it's worth absolute shit to me and will be treated as such. – ESPECIALLY IF CAT … just sayin'

    • val

Shelters don't really 'sell' cats; they charge an adoption fee to pay for shots and spays and whatnot

    • Ezee

Let the person enjoy their new kitty for goodness sakes.

    • ling

i really hope that they meant adopted instead of bought. shelter rescues are the best!

    • TheAutomaticMan

yet again… you all need to hit the cheeba and just chill…… if you're so fired up about them buying a kitty…. go rescue all of them from your local shelter to make up for it. People get so pissed about this shit. Do something to fix it and quit bitching.

    • Carloni

What happens to the cats that don't get sold from pet dealers? Please shelter, purchased, or found on the street. What does it matter as long as the kitty has a good home?

    • Brah

I bought my pug at an animal shelter. She was $40, they don't just toss them out to anyone interested. And even if she did buy the kitty from an pet store, what makes this kitty's life less important? Why shouldn't this kitty be able to find a happy home? Dumbass.

P.S. That kitten may be one of the cutest things I've ever seen.

    • Myself

All you people who are launching in on them from their moral high ground need to realize they could be new to pets. I have had pets my entire life and 85%+ have come from a vet that has taking ownership (because the people hurt it and didn't want to pay or it had some issue and they didn't want to pay and they surrendered it and the vet fixed them up) or a rescue the rest taking from friends or the shelter.

Shelters in my area and a lot of others have very few kittens and puppies. In my area there is around robin drawing for the chance at a young animal. Then the adoption fees are quite a bit higher. Every animal I have gotten from a shelter I have considered that I bought it. Now the people are going to say get an adult, but you know what people especially first timers should have a chance to actually raise one from it being small. Small ones can be a challenge, but it's easier that a 3-4 year old cat that has their neurotic tendencies set and you have no idea. It could turn people off from pet ownership.

Rescues are a great bet for young ones compared to shelters, but, rescues are intimidating as fuck the first time, because they do the same thing, jump right down the people's throat because they weren't born with expert knowledge. I remember a rescue questionnaire where a disqualifying question was what percentages of white/brown/black make up a tri-color. You guys did not pop out your mother and say only adopt pets. It's learned.

So, how about you all finish furiously masturbating because you got to stick it to an unlearned and try maybe figuring out where the little guy actually came from first, and then educating about other ways to get animals in the future? Nope, that can't happen because people like to stoke their egos too much.

      • Chan

        You're awesome.

      • Dog Person

        Typical cat person.

        • myself

          Actually dog person.

    • Max

I bought my kitten from a breeder because I always had dogs, so I wanted my first feline companion to be a certain calm, good for first-time cat owners breed. So excuse me for being picky and choosing according to my current lifestyle and experience (or lack thereof). Since you, good samaritan sir, were obviously born with a heart larger than life and with such a remarkable skill at preaching, I suggest you find a job at your local church. A lot of talking and little action going on there all the time.

As for you who bought this cutie – good luck! He really is an adorable (British shorthair?) kitten. 🙂

    • evelien

I am the owner of the cat. He is so sweet, I would have payed tenfold for him
🙂 you all can have your own opinion but I am the one who has the most cutest and sweetest cat in the world! 🙂

      • SimonPhoenix

        Cool Story, Bro.

    • Johnny_Doyle

actually animals in pet stores are most often treated worse than in the shelters, however you come bye your pet you can consider it rescued (ever hear of puppy mills?)

    • Common Sense

If I "purchased" a kitty from my local SPCA (animal shelter), there is a fee for shots, vaccines, license, and neutering. Any way you slice it, if you get a cat from a shelter it will cost you money. For simplicity sake, MOST people would call that "Buying a cat (or dog)". Get a clue Victor.

    • Chode

      self righteous much?

Sky diving’s not exactly natural for humans either mate.

  • Señorita Pimienta (@Cadillac_Rosa)

Humans do it consciously and willingly, though, cat didn’t understand why he was subjected to such terror, so don’t be a fool.

  • B Line (@asylumstudio)

The sky diving is a bit much, but people do the same with their dogs…

  • Bon_nie

I've seen a lot of these before, but they're still cute! Wish you would do a dog post Chive!

  • perv

#7 hehe, i can see your pussy.

    • Kyle

      (sighs in disappointment) …. Really?

      • Johnny_Doyle

I was a little suprised I scrolled down that far without seeing it already, posting that pic is like trolling for tools (entirely unoriginal tools)

  • Holy Hell

    How about a new post.
    Sexy Chivettes and their Pets.
    Best of both worlds.

  • MonkeyMadness

The cat has been dead for 10 minutes, Timmy squeezed the life out of him.

#27 was epic. And I'd like to give a shout out to all my Iowa State Cyclones! That's how we get it done at home!

  • Homeister

    #15 is just awesome!

    • It's 420 somewhere

Sure. If you don't mind boxes of shit sitting around your house. Or killing shelter animals

      • Dan

Dumbass. How do you know they didn't buy the cat at a shelter. Shelters don't give away animals for free, you know.

#18 The cat looks scared to death…that's cruel if you ask me and no appropriate for Cat Saturday.

    • Exes

I usually am annoyed with killjoy people, however, I agree with you here. No need to do this to the cat…

    • dirtysteve99

Animals can suffer long-term effects from extreme shock. I hope the cat was removed from these people, and put in a good home.
(Any way Chive could find out?)

    • Ia Mar

      is aminal abuse!!

      • iskra9

        absolutely insane … and why??
