It was a great role for Cruise, because he wasn't playing "Tom Cruise" but was totally against type… I had an issue with the end where the mild mannered cab driver won out in a straight up gun fight against a payed assassin.

In my personal opinion, I prefer Collateral to Heat. Los Angeles looks breathtaking and that alone should be worth the price of admission. Tom Cruise has never been better and Jamie Foxx is perhaps even better. I agree, it's a great film.

It is nice to see "real world" gun handling skills in a Hollywood movie. The "Is that my briefcase?" scene is a standout for gun handling/threat assessment.

I've always been apprehensive about watching that movie because the trailer was kind of crappy. You guys have convinced me to watch it though.

That is a great movie. Cruise manages to look refined and haggard at the same time. Jamie Foxx knocks it out of the park, especially when he goes into the club to get the last part of the list. Must-have movie.

He was a great Batman, actually. In an ideal world, I'd rather have him in the current Batman films. Bale can't act his way out of a paper bag. But with Keaton, you just look into his eyes and know "yep, this guy is crazy enough to dress up like a bat and beat up criminals."

Gotta respectively disagree here. While I thought Keaton was pretty good (and certainly didn’t end up being the disaster the naysayers were predicting) I don’t know if he was ideal. He was great behind the cowl as Batman, but I neve bought his Bruce Wayne. He just doesn’t strike me as a ‘millionaire playboy.’

ill give you that, Keaton is BAT-SHIT crazy… and Bale has the acting skills of a 5 year old with sock puppet. I honestly never like Keaton

Yes, Bale is such a terrible actor. I mean, getting loads of respect from the acting community for your hardcore method acting and getting your Oscar for the standout supporting role of 2010 is DEFINATELY an indication that you need to go back to acting school.

Michael Keaton is a good actor, I enjoy his work, you can see the differences in Batman vs. beetlejuice vs. Johnny Dnagerously all three cool movies
