Judy Garland was paid $35 a week for her role as Dorothy in the ‘Wizard of Oz’. Toto was paid $150. The Ruby slippers Judy wore in a screen test fetched $612,000 at auction. However, another pair of ruby slippers which Judy actually wore on screen, pair #7, will be auctioned off December 16th. They are expected to sell for $2 – $3 million dollars.
