Actually it IS an accepted term is eastern asian countries such as Korea and Japan. I was stationed in Korea (USAF) and that term of endearment was used by the Koreans to describe older women as well as Ajuma.

Yeah… i've always found that game weird… I grew up playing pretty much every Korean children's game but never that one… I think you're supposed to run and jump on top of the guys, and you see if you can get as many people on top as possible? Or something like that..

I'm gonna agree that it wasnt Korea. Look at the sign, they characters are Kanji (Chinese based), not Hangul (Korean characters).

They use chinese characters in South Korea. Kind of like latin. There's also a South Korean flag in the background.

Agreed. Korean is heavily based on Chinese, in fact long time ago, when almost everyone was illiterate, Koreans spoke in Korean but wrote in Chinese. Then this bad-ass dude said, "WTF? We should have our own written language" so he made the Korean alphabet. I've heard the Korean alphabet is based on the squares in rice paper doors which is why the first few letters are parts of squares.

Also, just as the Japanese use Kanji (which is Chinese just with different names for many of the characters) the Koreans use Hanmoon. And, the people in the 2 pictures all look Korean.
