Beautiful Norwegian Reindeer Lookout (7 HQ Photos)

0 0

The Norwegian Wild Reindeer Centre Pavilion is located at Hjerkinn on the outskirts of Dovrefjell National Park, overlooking the Snøhetta mountain massif. The building is open to the public and serves as an observation pavilion for the Wild Reindeer Foundation educational program.

A nature path takes you to the top of the mountain where you can catch a rare view of the Reindeer that live in the area. The lookout is built to blend in with the landscape and is rarely noticed by the easily-startled Reindeer until they're very close.

"The lookout is built to blend in with the landscape" Who are they kidding! A box doesn't blend into a hill top unless it's sunken into the ground.

I dont see one source of life there it is a beautiful waste land, no trees bushes or anything to sustain a pack of rain deer. And yea everything in europe is artsy and beautiful ; even the road cones have style .

If this was in "Merica it would be a group of "trees" that blend in with tree stands and "trail cams" that you can buys pics of the deer for $5 each….

    • Dorkfish

If it were left unattended in Merica, it would probably be destroyed and covered with Sharpie and paint

      • BRK

If this was in America, it would be a Burger King.
