Amby-I’m bad when it comes to sunscreen and ruinnng. The only time I’ll wear it is at the beach, when I’m ruinnng in the sand in the noon sun- but I tend to get it in my eyes and I have to sit down and cry for thirty minutes to wash it out, and then my eyes are bloodred for the rest of the day. Running and sunscreen don’t mix well for me.They should, though- I’ve had enough examples of the dangers of cancer. My maternal grandparents both died of cancer, my father has had three bouts with Merkle Cell carcinoma, a very rare skin cancer than is (much) deadlier than melanoma- though he keeps beating it, and my wife has had her knee replaced due to osteosarcoma- she didn’t appreciate the article on Terry Fox, because he died in the end.So- I try to run in the shade, and in the morning and evening hours. I never get burned while ruinnng- is there any research on how dangerous sun exposure without sunburns is for you?
