#22 Get the boy something he wants! Boobs.
I'd love to unwrap those on Christmas morning!
All I can notice in every pictures is the funky looking trees. I guess that's what happens when they aren't regularly trimmed…
i know! wtf! those are some BAD looking trees!
There probably weren't entire farms of White Firs specifically bred to become christmas trees back then. They probably just told the groundskeeper to go out in the woods and find something suitable. More interesting is the frequent use of a miniature town model as the surrounds of the tree.
I've been in a few forests in my day, never seen pine trees like that.
they remind me of the trees the hoo's had in the classic how the grinch stole christmas O_o
everyone gather 'round the christmas shrubbery
Talk about yer ugly ass Christmas trees #8 #16 #25
I dunno, I'm kinda digging this whole "tree-splosion" thing they had going on back in the day
Wasn't it the same tree each time?
I thought that these were pictures of the "ugly Tree" that folks on here mention every once in a while.
Man… I guess nice xmas trees were hard to come by back then… I guess they didn't want to have to travel too far to get them.
Looks the same to me…. Trees, toys, shops, families…
Those trees are lookin gangly, son. Jebus…
Where are the plastic trees and useless shit?
My grampy told me 100 years ago he got a fucking stick and an orange for christmas. I miss that grumpy old fucker.
A fucking stick? Yeah, guess they didn't Viagra back then.
If he told you that a hundred years ago, the only logical conclusion I can make, is that you're a vampire
Actually not much has changed. The tree & toys look different but I see families together around a tree. That’s all that should matter.
#3#5#11 Man, I miss toy trains. You used to put pellets in the stacks so it looked like they were making steam. So awesome!! http://www.mensconfidence.com
One of the cars on my toy train had missile launchers on it. And it didn’t fire nerf missiles. It fired projectiles that could poke an eye out. *That* was Christmas fun!
Now THAT I didn't have! I'll have another setup some day. Complete with a baseball stadium, mountains and skyscrapers!
First-ish. I think I’m happy Xmas has changed.
#23 "Griswald Christmas, the early years" … that trees a monstrosity.
They didn't trim those trees or their bushes back then.
Merry fucking Christmas, cocksuckers..
#15 I used to be alive 100 years ago, but then I actually did take an arrow to the face…
Erector set–there's a joke in there somewhere…..
should how the trees look even matter? are we all so caught up with a perfect looking Christmas tree that we forget what really is important? And it gets worse every year, family comes together and every one is caught up with their gadgets. but damn those are some ugly ass trees.
Exactly, the tree was just there for the gathering, they didnt have a)money to buy a pwetty tree b)there were hardly any pwetty trees 3)they didnt care about the looks of it much.
Nowadays xmas is about the cosmetics, person a has to have a nicer tree and decoraton than person B, kids dont look forward to the xmas days they only look forward to the presents etc.
I'm an old fart too and I say kids have ALWAYS only looked forward to the presents – no matter how humble those presents may have been. If you don't believe me go read old stories or watch old movies. The one constant is people thinking that things used to be different. Kids have always been kids, and people have always been who they are. Uphill. Both ways. Humbug!
I don't know, the tree at my parents was pretty shit this year

Beautiful models fell on stage
Beautiful models fell on stage
That would probably not be PC now days.
what the hell was this post?
#3 back then guns looked like guns
All the people in these photos are probably dead now.
Was born in Detroit in 1961, that's the way stuff still looked.
American's got fatter and the trees got skinnier.
#22 & #3
Guns and trains!!…Merry Christmas!
True that. Though I do kinda collect old Christmas ornaments so…that'd work too. :p
