For those of you out there having fantasy withdrawal like myself, there is a simple and fun solution. Recently theCHIVE joined forces with DraftStreet.com to bring you a free online draft league worth up to $400 in prizes. Basically, it is a salary cap league where everyone tries to assemble the best team out of the players who are still remaining. You will have a $100,000 salary to build a team of 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 2 FLEX, and 1 Defense. Each NFL player has been allocated a price based on their expected performance (ie. Tom Brady is worth $17,852 and Alex Smith is worth…well less) And there are are no restrictions to who you can draft — so if everybody wants Drew Brees, they can all draft him as long as they don’t spend more than their allotted salary on the rest of the team.
