- Claes Oldenburg is a Swedish sculptor, best known for his public art installations typically featuring very large replicas of everyday objects. But if you ask me, Oldenburg’s work reminds me of ‘Giant Land’ from Super Mario Bros. 3 — just sayin’. For more of his work go HERE.

The giant basketball shoe in pic #22 at the Indiana High School Basketball Hall of Fame is not by Oldenburg. It was created by Anders & Abner as part of a Reebok ad campaign.

1, 18, and 22 are not sculptures by Oldenburg (the fork, sneaker, and iron.) Also, excepting # 7 (the Clothespin), all the other artworks were done in partnership with Coosje van Bruggen.
I liked them all except #11 all I can think of is a smelly rotten apple.So yes the artwork is great
