You heard on fake news then, cause that's bullshit. 2011 was the 9th hottest year on record. 9 of the 10 hottest years have occurred over the last decade. Check some real science, like NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies, where the above information comes from. Or look at the recent work of the Berkley Earth Study, headed by the former leading scientist skeptic on global warming. He was funded by the Koch brothers and others to pour over the data taking into account all the claims of the skeptics, and reached the exact same conclusions as the NASA and NOAA and is no longer a skeptic.

Or you could ask yourself if global warming is real (it's not), then why did the "scientists" at East Anglica have to hide their data, make false charts (the infamous hockey stick) and the rest of the crap they got caug red handed doing when someone busted them by releasing the climate gate emails.

"Climategate" was bullshit, the nonsense claims roundly debunked by scientists from around the globe, you can find that all over the place, not that you will bother looking. The Berkley study took all the charges out of "climategate" into consideration along with every other skeptic claim (not enough temperature readings, not accounting for urban density, etc., that they claimed skewed the results), they took all of that into consideration, were funded by people with a vested interest in evidence refuting the previous findings, and found the exact same fucking results as NOAA and NASA. Base your positions on the evidence, not some herpderp like Sean Hannity pointing outside, "look snow! clearly global warming is a lie, herpderp!"
