hardly. i know quite a few people who treat waiters and other strangers very well and treat their families like shit.
People spend more to eat at a restaurant than home for convenience and service. The customer often still pays even if the food and the service suck and the waiter still expects to get paid or recieve a tip regardless of the quality of the food or service. If you want my 20% then earn it, and part of that may mean you may be the messenger for a chiefs poor cooking.
